16 November 2013: 6 Weeks to Christmas – 29 Weeks to Ironman Cairns – 203 days to return to finish line of biggest feeling of accomplishment I have experienced. Thinking about it now gives me goose pimples….

As I sit here in my folks home with my coffee, juice and memories of my last Ironman hanging on wall (thanks Mum). I plan my next adventure. I will just post up my training plans and any useful stuff I find on internet, friends or coaches regarding all the elements (swimming, cycling, running, nutrition and mental). Hopefully it will be useful or at least interesting. My promise this year is it will be less about me and more about what’s involved. 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycle & 40.2 km run can be serious fun, trust me.
